Give Thanks for Game-A-Thon 2022!

It’s that time again! Game-A-Thon is back and better than ever in time for Thanksgiving! While we haven’t been super active on the site this year, we still want to keep the Game-A-Thon tradition alive, and give back to those in need.

For those of you unfamiliar with this tradition, allow us to explain. Every year we get together around the holidays and stream ourselves playing our favorite board games via our Twitch channel. While partaking in this 7+ hour marathon, we collect donations for our local children’s hospitals through the Extra Life organization, which benefits the Children’s Miracle Network. The event has been going on since 2018, and it’s become our favorite holiday tradition. We hope you’ll be able to join us, and if you’re able to contribute to the fundraiser, a donation of any size is greatly appreciated.

The format is going to be slightly different this year, and closer to 2020’s Game-A-Thon. Instead of livestreaming our in-person event, we’re going all-virtual with a Tabletop Simulator. We’re doing this in part to change things up/keep things fresh, but also we feel it makes for a more entertaining viewing experience. We’ll be playing virtual versions of our favorite board/card games, and we hope you’ll join us for the festivities! THANKSGAMING! GAMESGIVING!!!!

This year’s Game-A-Thon will be taking place on: Saturday, November 19th over at https://www.twitch.tv/couchbandits. We’re hoping to start the stream at 12pm EST, so make sure you tune in to catch all of the fun!

Donations will be accepted during the livestream event, but can also be made before or after the stream. Our Extra Life team page (where you make your donations) can be found at this link:

All proceeds will be directly donated to a children’s hospital of our choosing through the Extra Life organization. For more information on Extra Life, watch the video below:
