If there’s a chill in the air and snow is falling, that must mean it’s time for Game-A-Thon. That’s right, everyone’s favorite livestream charity event is back for the 2021 holiday season—and we’re thrilled to announce we’re able to return to the original in-person format from previous years. Last year’s event was an all-virtual stream due to the pandemic—but thanks to all of us being vaccinated, we’re now able to be in the same space once more, playing board games from dusk until dawn!
For those of you unfamiliar with this tradition, allow us to explain. Every year we get together around the holidays and stream ourselves playing our favorite board games via our Twitch channel. While partaking in this 10+ hour marathon, we collect donations for our local children’s hospitals through the Extra Life organization, which benefits the Children’s Miracle Network. The event has been going on since 2018, and it’s quickly become our favorite holiday tradition. We hope you’ll be able to join us, and if you’re able to contribute to the fundraiser, a donation of any size is greatly appreciated.
This year’s Game-A-Thon will be taking place on: Sunday, December 26th over at https://www.twitch.tv/couchbandits. A specific start time for the stream will be announced closer to the date.
