This year, we decided to do something a little different with our holiday time.
Every year, we host a night-long board game marathon around the holidays called Game-A-Thon, but we really wanted to give back to the community AND play games at the same time. What better way to do that than with the help of Extra Life?
Extra Life allowed us to host a charity stream on our Twitch channel this week. We were looking to support our local hospitals within the Children’s Miracle Network through our love of games, so each of us here at Couch Bandits selected our own hospital within the network that helps treat children in need regardless of financial background. The donations stay at the local hospitals and directly support their ability to provide care to children and their families.

In total, we’re proud to announce we raised $360 by the end of Game-A-Thon! Our initial goal was $300, so we’re incredibly happy and grateful to have blown by that goal. These donations will make miracles happen for families who desperately need them.
Thank you so much for supporting our efforts! We’ll be keeping our Extra Life page live until the end of 2018 if you’d like to donate still. If we can hit $400 or even $500, that will be even more amazing!
